Our main program, the Spider Rescue Center Relocation Program works to remove spiders from a hazardous environment (e.g. a school, a house, a fairground) and move them to a more suitable location (e.g. a field, a forest). This program also applies to egg sacs, which we release into better environments.
So far, we have relocated about 1,500 spiders and spiderlings.
You can help!
It is easier than you’d think to help the Relocation Program! All you need to do is dress safely and net the spiders into a container of sorts (each spider should be in a separate container for safety reasons). Then, take them to a safe location away from people. You’ll be saving lives.
